Installer (recommended): run the Setup.exe, click through, and you get a Start-menu entry, a Desktop shortcut and an Uninstall entry in Windows Settings. Accounts and Paperworks install for your user only (no admin needed); Visio2DXF asks for admin because it also sets up the free LibreOffice engine for legacy .vsd files. Windows SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC" the first time: click More info, then Run anyway.
Portable zip: right-click the zip, Extract All, open the folder and double-click the REX … .exe (or Create shortcuts.cmd once for shortcuts). Nothing is installed; delete the folder to remove it.
Double-click the zip, then drag the REX … .app into your Applications folder. The first time, macOS may say the app is from an unidentified developer: right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. After that it opens normally. To uninstall, drag it to the Bin.
On first launch enter your company name exactly as it appears in your purchase email, then paste the licence key. Activation is offline. Keep the email: you need the same name and key to reinstall or move machines.
Paperworks OCR (making scanned PDFs searchable) is built in on Windows; on macOS install the free Tesseract engine. Visio2DXF converts legacy .vsd files with the free LibreOffice; modern .vsdx files need nothing else.
